Nosovice Brewery Expects 8 Thousand Visitors This Year

Radegast Brewery Has Its Own Tourist Stamp

Nošovice, November 19th 2008 - Radegast brewery acquired a Tourist stamp number 1618 for its excursion tour. Nošovice brewery has become the only brewery in Moravian-Silesian Region boasting this collectible souvenir. The excursion tour through the largest Moravian brewery has attracted 7,803 visitors so far this year, which is more than in the entire 2007.

Tourist stamps collectors have another opportunity to enlarge their collection. Radegast brewery in Nošovice has now joined the list of touristically significant locations in Czech Republic carrying an original wooden stamp. It is now the first and only brewery in Moravian-Silesian Region that received the souvenir for its excursion tour.

Excursion tour of Radegast brewery attracts thousands of visitors each year. Radegast brewery manager Ivo Kaňák explains the cause for the growing interest: "Our brewery is one of a few in central Europe that allows to peak under the lid of actual beer brewing. Visiting the brewery doesn't mean just seeing the visitor center like in the majority of other breweries."

Interest in excursion of the Nošovice brewery grows significantly in recent years. While there were 6,631 brewery visitors in 2006, the number increased to 7,793 fans of the popular Czech beverage in 2007. This year the number of brewery visitors is going to exceed 8 thousand. Foreigners account for significant number of visitors with about thousand of them visiting the brewery each year.
