On their 15th anniversary, the Chicas Aguila 2011 were chosen by Colombians (Translation)

Bogotá, November 3rd, 2010. Girls from Barranquilla, Medellin, Cali, and Bogota were selected as the new Chicas Águila 2011. Celebrating its Fifteenth Anniversary, Águila, Sin Igual y Siempre Igual, decided that Colombians should take part in the selection of the new Chicas Águila. Through Internet voting, Gloria Moreno, Daniela Ochoa, Daniela Ocoró and Jenny Clavijo were selected to represent the taste, body and colour of the brand throughout Colombia in the coming year. Chicas Águila 2011 were announced this afternoon in a marvellous event in Bogotá, with some renowned former Chicas Águila in attendance.

For five weeks, Chicas Águila followers had access to a wealth of information about the eight finalists on, including information of interest, videos, photos and surveys. They then selected their top four via e-voting which culminated on October 31st. In addition to the four winners, visitors enjoyed the beauty of barranquilleras Rosa and Elianis, the vallenata Indira and the bogotana Eddy, and were given the opportunity to send personal messages to all of the finalists to ask them questions about their lives

The Background of the Chicas Águila 2011

Gloria Moreno, from Barranquilla, is a communications professional, 22, 1.75 m. Measures: 91-61-91. Her favourite soccer player is Pibe Valderrama and her soccer team is Junior. She loves costeña food; her favourite place is Parque Tayrona; she loves to dance reggaeton and el merengue, especially at the Carnaval de Barranquilla and the Festival Vallenato.

A deeply rooted paisa, Daniela Ochoa, is a TV host in Medellín, she's 21 and is 1.75 m. She loves Nacional and Víctor Ibarbo; she likes pasta and Cartagena is her favourite place. She likes paintball, partying, eating and, above all, enjoying the Feria de las Flores.

Daniela Ocoró is a communications professional from Valle, 1.71 m., and is a devoted follower of América de Cali and Jorge Banguero. She measures 88-62-90, enjoys surfing, and loves the Carnaval de Barranquilla and the Feria de las Flores. Her favourite spot is Isla de Barú; she loves pasta and likes salsa.

Born in Bogota, Jenny Clavijo is also a communications professional, is 22 years old, and enjoys going to the theatre, movies and exercising. She is 1.75 m, and measures 90-62-90. She likes Nacional and her preferred soccer player is Giovanni Moreno. She expects to have fun with people at the Feria de las Flores, the Carnaval de Barranquilla and the Festival Vallenato, her favourite fiestas.

15th Anniversary of Chicas Águila

For fifteen years now, Águila has selected its most beautiful representatives from the Colombian community. Important national figures, models, and even beauty pageants have participated in the competition, which year after year receives the most beautiful Colombian women who want to be part of one of the most renowned icons of national advertising.

Chicas Águila appeared for the first time in 1995, and some important national figures were a part of that first group; special tribute has been paid to some of them today, in the framework of the selection of Chicas Águila 2011, at the Bavaria facilities in Bogotá.
