Bitter, Demi-Bitter Lager Is Being Brewed in Radegast Brewery

6 November 2013

Nošovice, November 5, 2013 – Almost a year later, in pubs and stores in Moravia and newly in Bohemia, Radegast Demi-Bitter will appear again. A limited batch is already maturing in Nošovice cellars and people will have a chance to taste it on November 11 when it hits stores. From December 1, it will also be available in pubs. The beer is characterised by a strong bitterness that is unusual for demi-dark beers, by its full taste and biting appeal. Radegast Demi-Bitter will be officially introduced in pubs all around the Czech Republic by hockey players from extra league teams, and players from Olomouc and Havířov teams. The plan of events, to which all fans are invited, will be posted on by the end of November. There you can also find the list of about 1,500 pubs that will have Radegast Demi-Bitter on tap.

Radegast Demi-Bitter was brewed in Nošovice as the first demi-dark beer in the history of the brewery last year. “The batch was very successful and it inspired the brewing of a new, demi-dark special. Our consumers wished for the next batch of Radegast Demi-Bitter and we listened to their pleas. At this moment, it is maturing in our lager cellars and from November 11 on it will be gradually released to the market. I believe it will be the ideal bitter beer many will spend long winter evenings with,” said Karel Kraus, Radegast brand marketing manager.

Radegast Demi-Bitter is a demi-dark lager known for a bitterness that is typical of all Radegast beers. Higher levels of carefully selected hops and nontraditional combinations of malts give it its characteristic full taste and amber colour.

Radegast Demi-Dark will be introduced in pubs by players from the highest competitions that have Radegast as their official beer. Olomouc and Havířov fans will not miss the events with their players. Fans will have a chance to meet with their stars and together taste the demi-dark lager from Radegast. Dates of the events will be posted in timely manner at
