Lima, August 17, 2010. - Thanks to last year's success and the strong interest by consumers, Cusqueña, the Premium brand from Backus' national portfolio, launches for the second year Cusqueña Red Lager Special Edition.
Cusqueña Red Lager is a special edition created for the most demanding palates, with a reddish-golden colour, a result of the perfect combination of carefully selected malts and the natural process of toasting the barley.
This year, unlike the previous one, Cusqueña Red Lager will be distributed nationally in multiple outlets such as warehouses, supermarkets, convenience stores, liquor stores, restaurants, and bars for a limited time. It will be available in two presentations, 330 ml (non-returnable) and 620 ml (returnable), in its known carved bottle with the twelve-angle stone and a specially designed label and ochre cap, at a suggested price of: S/.3.00 and S/.4.30, respectively.
With this release, Cerveza Cusqueña shows its constant concern about meeting its consumers' expectations and preferences, offering a flavour for each special moment: Cusqueña Regular, with a pure flavour thanks to 100% pure barley and Saaz hops, the world's finest; Cusqueña Malta, with a fine aroma, exact sweetness and the best flavour; and Cusqueña Red Lager, with an accentuated malty and hops flavour, besides that particular intense reddish-gold colour.
