Around half our beer is sold in returnable bottles and kegs, which have a lower environmental impact than one-way packaging. But returnable packaging is in decline in some markets, under threat from logistical challenges coupled with consumer perceptions of the inconvenience of returning packs and the premium value of a single-use bottle.

Protecting returnable packaging is an important step towards building a clean world where nothing goes to waste and emissions are dramatically lower. How can we make returnable packaging easier to use and challenge consumer perceptions?
