The latest Sustainable Development Report provides an update on the sustainable development framework which was embedded into our global operations last year. There is news on each of the 10 priorities and how we performed against our commitments.
The Report lists targets and focus areas for this year in addition to providing information on the new system which measures our operations on their progress on each of the priorities. It also includes information on our people and how we satisfy consumers through our quality products.
The Report explains that by being successful and profitable we can be a positive force for social and economic development in communities and in our supply chain, by providing jobs, training and wealth through taxes and excise duties. Conversely, we are dependent on successful communities to provide employees and other resources.
