Lima, May 09th, 2012.- As part of a campaign to support the Peruvian national soccer team's classification for the World Cup, and with the intention of gathering all Peruvians to support the national team, Cristal beer has launched a new, limited-edition presentation patterned after the national team jersey, with the colours of the Peruvian flag.

The Peruvian Flag image will be featured on the 11.16oz (returnable and non-returnable) and the 12oz cans formats, the same ones that are already on sale nationwide. Also, the non-returnable 11.16oz six pack and the 12oz twelve pack packaging has a new design as well, the heat shrink packaging protecting them simulates the exit of the tunnel, where the players usually enter the soccer field.

The director of the Cristal brand, Nino Garboza, pointed out that Cristal beer wants to promote and to make tangible the support of the Peruvian national soccer team. "Cristal beer, as the leading brand, reasserts its passion and commitment, real and unconditional, to our national team. We are the #1 supporter of the national team and we want all the Peruvian people to commit and be a part of it, that's why we also wear the Peruvian jersey."

This innovative presentation of Cristal beer aims to show the brand's commitment to the Peruvian national soccer team and will be available through the second week in June.
