Current business profile

Cervecería Nacional, a subsidiary of SABMiller since 2005 is the largest beer producer in Ecuador. With well over 1,900 employees, the company is a major contributor to the economy generating USD 247 MM derived from its value chain.

CN increased its beer volume 2,4% compared to the previous year obtaining 54% value share of the alcoholic beverage market. Even though volume growth was smaller than the previous year, revenue increased 12,4% based on the increase of premium brands such as Club Premium and new consumption occasions targeted by Pilsener Light.
