Lima, September 11th, 2013 - The Oktoberfest is the biggest German party in the world, and this year Oktoberfest Peru celebrates the twelfth edition of this traditional event, from Thursday the 17th to Sunday the 20th.
The facilities in Explanada Sur of Monumental Stadium, will again be the stage that will receive more than 25,000 people ready to enjoy this massive event.
This year, the participants will enjoy delicious south German cuisine accompanied by six Peruvian beers: the four varieties of Cusqueña (Dorada, Red Lager, Malt and Wheat), as well as Cristal and Pilsen Callao. Also, they will be able to participate in the games and contests carried out during the party.
This event will feature German and Peruvian bands, folk music and dance groups like ZUGSPITZMUSIK and Orquesta Sarabandha, as well as entertainment provided by Iris Schoenach, who will put the celebratory note on this event, a special moment that nobody can miss.
It is worth mentioning that nowadays the Oktoberfest is celebrated in more than 180 cities worldwide, including South America. In Peru, this beer party has been celebrated since 2002.
