Two Win All-Expenses-Paid Peroni Prize Trip to Italy
19 February 2013
Accra, Ghana, February 14, 2013 - Two lucky winners of a Peroni promotion that ran in four image outlets in Accra will enjoy a three-day, all-expenses-paid trip to Italy. The promotion, whose final draw took place at Rhapsody’s (Accra Mall), was to reward patrons of Peroni Nastro Azzurro, a distinctive, crisp Italian beer that offers Italian style in a bottle. It is a super-premium brand produced by SABMiller’s Italy subsidiary and imported exclusively by Accra Brewery Limited. It is made with the same passion, innate style, attention to detail and craftsmanship of world-renowned Italian icons like Ducati, Ferrari and Armani. Like all things Italian, it is tailored to deliver a distinctive, crisp taste.
Kankoh Gregory Akannue, a fashion designer, and Svitlana Holm Fleischer, who emerged as ultimate winners, will undertake a three-day trip to Rome that will include a tour of the Peroni Brewery, an excursion to the Castel Romano Outlet, a promenade in Rome Centre, and also a live match between Roma and Juventus, among others. Both of them were filled with so much joy, as they had no plans of travelling to Italy anytime soon, but Peroni Nastro Azzurro has made this possible. Greg said, “I am so excited with the package and will continue to enjoy my stylish Peroni each day with my friends.” Svitlana puts it this way, “I cannot wait to get to Italy! Thanks to SABMiller, through their Peroni brand, for making this possible.”
The two winners will each come back with a customised Italian jacket. Twelve other consumers also won consolation Peroni gift items.
According to Accra Brewery Brands Manager James Sarfo, “ABL is rated the number-one contributor in Africa to Peroni volume sales. We are therefore delighted and deemed it necessary to reward our loyal consumers through our Dons of Style promotion. To our winners we say ‘ayeekoo,’ whilst wishing them a safe journey to and from Italy.”
