OgilvyInteractive Is the New Digital Agency of Gambrinus Brand

Plzeň, November 8, 2012 – Plzeňský Prazdroj has selected a new digital agency for its Gambrinus brand in public tender. It is OgilvyInteractive Agency. Its goal is to create and realise creative solutions in digital media with concentration on social networks. The bidding ended at the beginning of November. Four agencies took part in the bidding.
“Activities and presence of Gambrinus brand and related individual products in digital media and on the internet are an important portion of our marketing strategy and our communication with the consumers. The winning agency introduced the most complex solution showing solid concept and mutual interconnectivity of individual activities. OgilvyInteractive Agency also won our attention for its high level of analytical work and for their pure excitement to work for our brand,” said Jan Doležel, Gambrinus brand manager. “I would also like to thank all participating agencies. All entered solutions were on a very high level.”
The bidding for digital agency of the Gambrinus brand had two rounds that took place during September and October. A closed bidding included invited agencies Publicis Modem, Symblaze, Nydrle, and OgilvyInteractive. Gambrinus will commence its cooperation with the winning agency during November. Their first task will be to prepare a complete digital strategy for Gambrinus Original 10°, and flavoured Gambrinus with a focus on social media, followed by the implementation of the strategy, including the realisation of its individual activities.
