- 1981
Ngwane Breweries, a traditional opaque beer brewery, is established in Manzini.

Swaziland Bottlers is formed to bottle and distribute Coca-Cola products.

All three business units are merged to form Swaziland Beverages Limited (SBL), all operating at the same site in Matsapha.
