History

1906: Rafael Meza Ayau y Compañía begins operations in Santa Ana.
1928: The company moves to the capital, San Salvador.
1935: Rafael Meza Ayau y Compañía is renamed La Constancia.
2001: SAB enters El Salvador.
2003: Industrias La Constancia is formed with the merger of Cervecería La Constancia, Embotelladora Salvadoreña and Industrias Cristal de Centroamérica.
2007: Industrias La Constancia begun to implement a Sustainable Development programme in to their production process.
2010: Joined by the El Salvador's president, Industrias La Constancia inaugurated the new corporate offices.
2011: Produces one million hectolitres of beer for the first time in its history.
2012: Industrias La Constancia published its Economical Contribution Study, reflecting its positive impact on the Salvadoran economy and society.
