Current business profile

SABMiller entered the high-growth Vietnamese beer market in 2006 through a joint venture with Vinamilk, subsequently purchasing 100% of the joint venture in March 2009. A greenfield brewery was built in 2007, with the launch of Zorok beer as our mainstream entry later that year. During the 2012 financial year Czech beer, Gambrinus was introduced as a premium brand and Peroni Nastro Azzurro as a super-premium brand in support of our strategy to focus on higher margin brands, channels and geographies.
