Corporate governance doyen Mervyn King on SABMiller's sustainable water strategy

The Financial Times has published a profile on Mervyn King, South African corporate attorney, arbitrator, mediator and a former judge of the Supreme Court of South Africa.

King has looked at areas of good ethical and environmental practice, and to illustrate sustainability becoming a worldwide issue, he uses SABMiller as an example, citing the group's sustainable water strategy. In particular referencing ‘building the next brewery at sea'. 

The ‘brewery at sea' concept was discussed by SABMiller in October 2010, when the group undertook research into ‘The Brewery of the Future'. You can read more about the different scenarios below:
