Born in the UK, Mike Short moved to South Africa where he set up a company that provided project management services to South African Breweries, a company he later joined. From South Africa, his journey continued through a Hungarian brewery, Dreher, to one of the major European brewers, Plzensky Prazdroj, which he led from 2005 until last year, when he was appointed Senior VP of Industry Affairs.
