Dr David Tickner is Head of Freshwater Programmes at WWF-UK. He leads a team that works with governments and companies globally to encourage better policy and practice on water management and river conservation. Dave is currently also a non-executive director of Water and Sanitation for the Urban Poor, an advisor on water issues to Standard Chartered Bank and a research fellow at the University of East Anglia.
