Cervecería Hondureña receives regional recognition from The Coca-Cola Company

Cervecería Hondureña receives a double recognition for quality from The Coca-Cola Company:
- First place for quality in the Central American Division and,
- First Place in the Latin Centre Division
This recognition, Quality Award 2012, was given for the excellent results achieved in the soda production facility in San Pedro Sula, after the evaluation of 40 production facilities in 24 countries from the Central American, Andean and Caribbean regions.
The Coca-Cola Company monitors its strategic partners with licences to bottle its brands in order to guarantee Coca-Cola’s Golden Quality Standard to benefit consumers.
The monitoring evaluations carried out by The Coca-Cola Company measure product and packaging quality ratings, as well as certifications in quality, environment and occupational safety. Since 2011, its second edition, it incorporates, as a requirement, obtaining the Food Safety certification.
Under Coca-Cola’s licence Cervecería Hondureña produces: Coca-Cola (classic, zero and light), Sprite, Fanta, Fresca, Agua Vital and Dasani, Jugos Del Valle and FuzeTea.
As well as following The Coca-Cola Company’s demanding quality parameters, the management of the company is regulated by SABMiller’s World Class Manufacturing standards, the prestigious bottling group to which it belongs.
This achievement is especially meaningful for the nearly 3000 direct employees of Cervecería Hondureña, a company characterised by its orientation towards its continuing improvement.
About these important recognitions for quality, Manuel Vallejo, Vice-president of the Technical Department of Cervecería Hondureña, stated:
“The recognitions awarded by The Coca-Cola Company for the work carried out in Cervecería Hondureña show the efforts of our people so the consumer can receive the best quality products every time. It’s an incentive to continue giving our best in order to satisfy our clients.
- Coca-Cola’s award for quality was established in 2010 and Cervecería Hondureña got the first place for the Central American Division as well as for the Latin Centre Division.
- In the year 2011 it came first again in Central America
- 2012 Edition: first place for quality in Central American and Latin Centre Divisions.
