‘The Day Of Radegast’ Will Offer New Records As Well As Unfiltered Beer (Translation)

Nošovice, September 5, 2011 - On Saturday, September 10, Nošovice will experience one of the biggest events of Moravia-Silesia region. For the ninth time already, The Radegast Day will welcome more than 20,000 people as every year before. The program of the festival will take place on four stages, Visitors Center will be open too, and the brewery will be available for the beer tours. Bitter beer fans can look forward to Petr Kolář, Xindl X, Aleš Valenta, and many other Czech stars. Nošovice master-brewers made special unfiltered lager especially for this occasion and it will be available with other Radegast beers on tap at 28 different beer stations. 

The motto of this year's festival is "Radegast calls his tribe to break the records." "We keep the tradition of each year having a special and original program. This year, we hope to see many great achievements and broken records. We will even attempt to qualify for an entry into the Guinness Book of Records in jumping on one hand," said Marek Málek, manager of Radegast brand while describing record-breaking motto of this year's festivities.

Stars of Czech pop scene Petr Kolář, Xindl X, and Empty Marker will appear on four stages. Olympic champion Aleš Valenta will be an MC of the extreme "record-breaking" event. On a culinary scene, visitors will learn how the taste and draw beer properly. Popular actor Martin Zounar will cook and watch over the attempt to break a record in "devouring" of beer-canapés.

Nošovice brewers prepared traditional unfiltered lager for the occasion. However, there will be other Radegast beers available on tap as well. A total of 62 taps will be constantly running at 28 beer stations. "We are well prepared for The Day of Radegast, and there will be no beer shortage. I am confident that god Radegast will take care of the weather, and our fans will fully enjoy our well-bitter beer and as well as the rich program," said Ivo Kaňák, manager of Radegast brewery.

The program will start at 10:00 a.m. and end 10:00 p.m. on the hour. A steam train will run to Nošovice from Frýdek-Místek and from Ostrava. Alternative bus transportation will be available as well. Czech Railways came with a new train going from Dobrá at 22:42 with connections all the way to Ostrava and Frenštát p. R. A detailed train schedule is available at www.radegast.cz.
