Poker Ligera, a beer to enjoy, without remorse, any day of the week (Translation)

Bogotá, August 24th, 2010. Bavaria, one of the leading beverage companies in Colombia, just introduced Poker Ligera (Light) into the Columbian market, the first extension of the Poker brand in its 81 year history, which is offered to satisfy a huge amount of Colombian consumers who wish to enjoy a beer during non-regular hours, any day of the week, and without remorse.

The new Poker Ligera is the ideal option to break from routine, take a break and share with peers and work colleagues, with the peace of mind that comes from a beer with less CO2 content and just 3.1 grades of alcohol by volume, but one that still tastes like true beer.

Poker Ligera is the perfect balance between the bitter content and the sweet appearance of the traditional Poker. Its contents are 75% malt and 25% maltose syrup, which makes it milder, less astringent and lighter. In other words, it does not make you feel full and produces fewer secondary effects.

Poker Ligera will be available in three presentations: 330 ml amber returnable bottle, 330 ml non-returnable amber bottle and 330 ml can.

The launch of Poker Ligera will include brand activations and free product trials at traditional stores, and a massive media campaign that includes TV, radio and external advertisements.

Poker, in its traditional version, was re-launched nearly two years ago and is available in more than seventy percent of the national territory, now one of the leading brands in Bavaria's portfolio.
