30 March 2010

Ostrava, March 29, 2010 - The best table hockey player in Moravia is Vlastimil Hejtman from Olomouc. He competed with more than a thousand players to become the winner of the Radegast Cup. The preliminary rounds and the semi-finals took place in 110 pubs all around Moravia. The grand finale, the size of which has no competition in the Czech Republic, was held in Ostrava. The winner of the Radegast Cup will get a trip to the World Championship in ice hockey in Germany.

"The competition in table hockey was organized as part of the concept that Radegast supports Moravian hockey. The huge turnout and interest prove that hockey is very popular in Moravia," said the manager of the Radegast brand, Pavel Kmínek.

A popular Slovak commentator Karol Polák, who also gave out prizes to the best players, added to the great atmosphere of the ceremony with his unmistakable voice.
