Club Colombia supports the Corazón Verde Foundation with its collectable glasses promotion
12 November 2009
Bogotá, November 6th 2009 - Last Friday in the Bavaria offices, Club Colombia, the leading premium brand in the market, presented its promotion of four collectable glasses. With this promotion, it will support the orphaned children education programmes that are carried out by the Corazón Verde Foundation. The promotion is centred on the concept of enjoying "two masterpieces in the same glass", because aside from the Club Colombia itself - an example of Colombian master brewing - the glasses were designed by four Colombian painting masters who work in conjunction with the Corazón Verde Foundation, and who were specially selected to create these new glasses.
They are Kindi Llajtu, Germán Londoño, Santiago Montoya and Alejandro de Narváez, who interpreted, each according to their own style, the traditional "tunjo" of Club Colombia, a tribute to pre-Colombian culture, that the brand has used for many years and which is a symbol of artisan mastery.
Regarding the promotion, Mónica Alzate, director of the Corazón Verde Foundation, stated: "Thanks to this promotion with Club Colombia, we will be able to strengthen our education programmes for the nearly one thousand orphaned children from the police throughout the country. This doesn't only support the foundation; it is also a boost to national art for these glasses will become a beautiful showcase for four Colombian artists with a bright future".
The promotion started on November 1st and will run up to December 31st - or while stocks last. To claim one of the 300,000 glasses available throughout Colombia, Club Colombia aficionados must gather three awarded bottle caps plus 4,000 pesos and go to any of the 28 offices of Bavaria or one of the 600 Deprisa exchange points throughout the national territory. Likewise, all multipacks of 12 and 16 cans available in supermarkets include a free glass.
In addition, the brand invites all of its consumers to make their own "virtual" intervention on the Club Colombia tunjo in the website http://www.cervezaclubcolombia.com/. The best designs will win fabulous prizes.
