Australian Lager to Prepare Winning "Island Caretaker" for Life
in Australia with Free Product for Three Months

MILWAUKEE and GOLDEN, Colo. (January 14, 2009) - There's only one way to celebrate being named "Island Caretaker" on Hamilton Island, part of Australia's beautiful Whitsunday Islands, and that's to prepare properly with ice cold Oil Cans of Foster's Lager beer.  Dubbed as the "Best Job in the World," the tourism department in Australia's Queensland state said yesterday it was looking for one person to explore the islands of the Great Barrier Reef and report back via blogs.  Foster's today announced it will reward that person with three months of Foster's Oil Cans prior to their trip in order to get them acclimated with the Aussie lifestyle.

"Foster's is all about bold flavors and bold perspective," said Doug Kooyman, Foster's brand manager.  "We commend the folks at Tourism Queensland for offering up this huge employment opportunity and we believe a few ice cold Foster's Oil Cans is the proper way to congratulate and prepare the winner."

According to its website, "The Best Job in the World" as Island Caretaker is a six-month contract, based on luxurious Hamilton Island in the Great Barrier Reef.  It's a live-in position with responsibilities that include exploring the islands of the Great Barrier Reef to discover what the area has to offer.  The winner will be required to report back on their adventures to Tourism Queensland headquarters in Brisbane (and the rest of the world) via weekly blogs, photo diary, video updates and ongoing media interviews.
