Cevicheff Cusqueña on the beaches again

Beaches of Lima, Trujillo, Piura, Arequipa and Tacna will be the venue for this event

This year, the  Cevicheff Cusqueña will arrive to five cities of the country. It is the most expected beach contest of the Summer

Lima, January 07, 2008.- For third year in a row, Cerveza Cusqueña is getting ready to present the most expected contest of the Summer. This year, in the Cevicheff Cusqueña, many beaches of the South of Lima will participate, besides of representative resorts of Arequipa, Tacna, Piura and Trujillo.

In this culinary competition, people over 25 years old who are not professional cooks and live on the beaches where the contest is being held can participate, same contest that is going to take place on the beaches: Las Arenas, Totoritas, Mejía (Arequipa), La Boca del Río (Tacna), Punta Hermosa, Cocoa, Las Delicias (Trujillo), Colán (Piura), Las Lagunas and Santa María; gathering hundreds of people to enjoy an afternoon full of magic and details on every plate. The first event will take place on Saturday 10 of January at Tortolitas beach, Ciudad de Lima.

Every participating team could be formed by 3 people (2 minimum), the same that will receive from Cerveza Cusqueña all the ingredients and kitchen and clearing utensils necessary to prepare a ceviche made with fish, lemon and onions; probing their talent when making this delicious national dish.

The summer winning team will receive a package for 2 people to Varadero, all expenses included. The winning supporters of each date will also receive gifts.

This year jury will be formed by the cheffs Sebastián Cavenecia, Alfredo Aramburú and Rodrigo Conroy, besides many well known cheffs that will be invited every week. The big final for the beaches of  Lima is scheduled for Saturday 07 of March.
