Poland: Piwowarski Serwis Informacyjny and Świat Piwa again in the first place of the Agape Contest

In the 8th consecutive Contest of Company Bulletins organized by the Agape Agency, the Brewing Information Service of the Brewing Company was voted the Best Electronic Bulletin in Poland for the third time in a row. Moreover, the internal magazine The World of Beer was selected the best internal bulletin in the country, and in addition won the distinction of the Best Layout of the Year.

On October 16, the festive gala concluded the 8th Contest of Company Bulletins organized by the consulting and publishing agency Agape. At the Gala, statuettes were awarded in the following categories: the Best Internal Bulletin, the Best External Bulletin, and the Best Electronic Bulletin. For the first time this year, special diplomas were awarded for the Best Layout of the Year, the Best Text of the Year, and the Best Cover of the Year. The Best Cover of the year was selected from the nominees through online voting by the Internet users.

The Brewing Information Service of the Brewing Company won the contest for the third time in a row, winning 150.1 points out of 200.

“We are extremely proud of the success of the Brewing Information Service. The first prize for the third consecutive time is a proof that we do not sit on our laurels and always try to go forward, develop and meet the expectations of our recipients,” said Katarzyna Wilczewska, Public Affairs Manager of the Brewing Company.

The World of Beer, an internal magazine addressed tothe employees of the Brewing Company, won the first prize in the category of Best Internal Bulletin. It was the sixth time that it made the best first three and for the third time won the highest prize. This year, The World of Beer won a record 191.35 points. In addition, the magazine was distinguished in the new Agape category, winning the award of the Best Layout of the Year.

The World of Beer, for the third time in its nine years of existence, proved to be the best internal magazine in Poland. For the past six years, we have been consistently in the top of the corporate press which is proven by all the contests organized in our country, the Agape being a good example. Every consecutive win mobilizes us to a better work. The first prize, naturally, is something to be very proud of as by winning we serve as an example to follow for many other companies, as evidenced by the requests for copies of The World of Beer. It is nice to be a leader and a template provider,” commented Wojciech Mrugalski, Manager of Internal Communications of the Brewing Company and the Editor–in–Chief of The World of Beer.

The electronic bulletin, The Brewing Information Service, has appeared since June 2004. It is addressed to journalists, market analysts and beer lovers who express their wish to receive the bulletin by subscribing to it on the Brewing Company site

The main goal of the bulletin is to provide information about the company, its products, investment campaigns and the beer market in Poland. The recipients may utilize the rich database of texts as well as high–resolution photos, used by journalists when preparing materials on the Brewing Company.

The World of Beer is an internal monthly of the Brewing Company appearing since 1999. The magazine is published in 3500 copies and distributed to all employees of the company as well as the interested individuals from the parent corporation SABMiller all over the world. The agency Morskie Studio Graficzne is responsible for the graphic layout of the magazine.
