Cervecería Hondureña launches the 4e programme, Camino al Progreso, which will benefit 1,350 retail owners in Honduras

Cervecería Hondureña announced the launching of its 4e Progamme, Camino al Progreso, which will benefit 1,350 retail owners nationwide.

The main goal of 4e, Camino al Progreso, is to improve the quality of life for entrepreneurial retailers and their families, as well as the well-being of their communities. The programme provides business training and takes into account family and personal transformation, and the projection of the retailer’s community.

“With the programme 4e, Camino al Progreso, we want to recognise the daily efforts made by the retailers in order to advance, and the leadership roles they have in the well-being of their families and the development of their communities,” stated Boyce Lloyd, President of Cervecería Hondureña S. A. “We are very proud of carrying out this initiative, which we believe will promote a major social change and will make a real difference in these communities,” he pointed out.

The retailers will be provided with group training, and during the length of the programme they will have access to personal advice and follow ups in their retail stores. The training will be carried out in four stages.

Each stage will have follow ups and evaluations that will determine the progress of the participants. Also, the most outstanding retailers will have the opportunity to present an action plan that, with the help of Cervecería Hondureña, will allow them to develop a social entrepreneurship initiative in their communities.

The programme 4e, Camino al Progreso, is a SABMiller regional effort, with the goal of benefitting, within five years, 40,000 retail owners in Peru, Colombia, Ecuador, Panama, El Salvador and our own country, Honduras.

The scope and investment of the 4e Programme, Camino al Progreso, in Honduras will benefit 1,350 retail stores by 2018 (within five years) and the investment of Cervecería Hondureña will amount to 15,000,000 Lempiras, which will be used for training and technical support.
