Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, May 13th, 2103.- Tropical just launched a new kind of beer with added natural lemon. With this initiative, the brand of Compañía Cervecera de Canarias wants to keep showing its commitment to innovation, together with the search for products that cover the expectations and the demands of the population.
From Compañía Cervecera, it’s highlighted that with this new modality of Tropical Limón, known as radler, the emphasis is put on the opening of new markets and the search for opportunities in a time of big economical problems, with the goal of moving forward in the diversification and in the development of new segments.
Tropical Limón has started its commercialisation, in bottles as well as in cans, in supermarkets, restaurants, bars and coffee shops all over the islands, having in mind that is the first time that this kind of drink is produced in the insular market.
Compañía Cervecera emphasises the high potential for acceptance of this new drink, supported by previous market surveys, as it is a low alcohol content product, merely 2%, and its characteristics and flavour adapt to the necessities and taste of beer consumers as well as soft-drink consumers.
In fact, the latest studies existing in this field show that around 12% of the population consumes these type of drinks and its demand evidences a clear rising trend, as it’s a refreshing drink made with natural ingredients, without flavour enhancers.
The new Tropical Limón wants to consolidate its presence especially among the consumers that choose this drink for lunch or with appetisers, in response to an increasing public demand for a refreshing drink with a low alcohol content and whose consumption increases even more during the summer season.
