Gambrinus 11° Excellent is celebrating its third birthday by giving away 100 beers to every new dad (Translation)

10 November 2011

Praha, November 9, 2011 - Gambrinus 11° Excellent will celebrate its third birthday on a magically symbolic day - 11/11/2011. It is the triple occurrence of the number eleven in the date that symbolises the unique process of triple-hopping used in its production. To mark the occasion, Gambrinus 11° Excellent will give away 100 beers to every new dad celebrating the birth of his offspring on that particular day.

Gambrinus 11° Excellent built its strong position in the very popular market share of the "eleven degrees" beers. Czechs literally love the "Elevens." Their market share has risen about 11%, or tripled, to today's 20%, within the past three years. "Eleven degrees beers see a rise in popularity with all consumer groups. Gambrinus 11° Excellent quickly gained its favoured position especially thanks to the perfect taste and refreshment it offers, which are the result of the unique triple-hopping process," says Petr Kouble, Brand Manager of Gambrinus 11° brand.

To mark its third birthday, Gambrinus 11° Excellent will please all new dads whose offspring will be born on 11/11/2011. "Each new dad will receive 100 bottles of Gambrinus 11° Excellent beer to celebrate the happy occasion," adds Petr Kouble.

The magical joining of the multiple occurrence of the number one in the date reflects directly in the life of Czech families. Within the last three years, the number of new dads welcoming their child on November 11th has increased. In 2008 it was 335 new dads, in 2009 it was 351 new dads and last year 369 men became new fathers.
