Guaraná is Now Fortified with Vitamins

- It contains vitamin B1 and B3 for more energy and health
- For nationwide release

Lima, May 5, 2011 - In an effort to offer a product with more benefits, in accord with the healthy lifestyle that many people chose nowadays, Backus is releasing Guaraná, now fortified with vitamins B1 and B3.

The same Guaraná as always will keep its unique and incomparable taste, as well as its price, but it will now be healthier, since it has been enriched with vitamins B1 and B3, essential for growth and good heart function. It aids the nervous and digestive systems and also contributes to energy production and cellular respiration, reducing cholesterol synthesis and maintaining healthy skin.

"We have noticed a growing tendency toward a healthier lifestyle. We want Guaraná, one of our most traditional products, to join this tendency and be in line with our customers' preferences. Because of this, we decided to give Guaraná additional assets. Aside from having a delicious, special and refreshing taste, it now has added benefits for those who enjoy it," Mario Gomi, Backus water and soda director, stated.

It bears mentioning that a 500 ml. bottle of Backus Guaraná contains 46 percent of the daily requirements of vitamin B1 (thiamine) and 30% of the daily requirements of vitamin B3 (niacin) for those fourteen and older.

Backus Guaraná is available in three sizes: 500 ml., 2 litres and 3.01 litres, whose prices are on a national level: S/. 1.00, S/. 3.50 and S/. 500, respectively.

About Guaraná
