A new recognition for Peru's premium brand
- For its excellent position on the international market
Lima, January 10, 2011 - Cusqueña beer, a national premium brand, has received important recognition from ADEX (Peruvian Association of Exporters).
Due to its position in various international markets such as Chile, the United States, Britain, Spain and Japan, ADEX president Juan Varilias Velásquez awarded Cusqueña beer with a certificate of recognition created by the Union of Peruvian Beer Makers, Backus and Johnston.
"This award fills us with pride because we consider it to be acknowledgement of the efforts Cusqueña beer has made in order to place it in more demanding markets," said Richard Gallagher, Exporting Director of Backus.
Apart from being the most widely exported Peruvian beer in the world, Cusqueña beer is the only premium beer made in Peru. It has reached an excellent position on the international level while satisfying the most demanding of palates.
In this way, Cusqueña beer maintains its position as a premium beer, adding one more award to the 18 it has already earned. These awards undoubtedly uphold the quality with which Cusqueña is made, as it is the only Peruvian beer brewed with 100-percent pure barley and Saaz hops, the finest in the world, giving it body, aroma and pure beer flavor.
