Cervecería Hondureña “Committed to your Future” program motivates its entrepreneur suppliers (Translation)

Thirty-three micro and small Honduran businessmen improve their business competitiveness.
Mauricio Leyva Arboleda, Cervecería Hondureña S.A. president, has concluded the Committed to Your Future program. Important private sector leaders and representatives, as well as government authorities, social media and 33 businesses participated in the event.
"The main objective of the Committed to Your Future program is to strengthen small and medium businesses within the Cervecería Hondureña value chain so that they grow in areas such as competitiveness, trustworthiness and sustainability in order to generate jobs and economic development in their communities," stated Leyva Arboleda.
As a result of carrying out this six-month long program, businesses received training in areas such as: Leadership, Competitiveness, Marketing, Processes, Costs and Good Practices Culture, among others. According to participants' feedback, this training allowed them to exceed and improve productivity, decision-making, process systematization and cost efficiency.
Participants also said they were able to broaden their knowledge about Cervecería Hondureña and learn more about what it means to be one of its customers. This knowledge helped them to better understand the company´s hiring and payment processes and its ethics and responsible consumption policy.
Roberto Alvarez, Corporate Issues vice-president, said, "We are aware of the responsibility we have as human beings more than just as a company and because of that we will stand alongside those who possess an entrepreneurial spirit by offering Honduran small and medium businesses the Committed to Your Future program."
"Committed to Your Future, a social entrepreneurial responsibility program, has generated a symbiosis of prosperity and confidence among all those involved in the process, thus resulting in a common well-being, which should be the objective of every good deed we set ourselves to do," stated Alvarez.
