Compañía Cervecera receives the Asinca Award for Labor Risk Prevention Management (Translation)

With it, the Las Palmas industrial management acknowledges the "excellent management" of the preventive measures developed by the company

Santa Cruz de Tenerife, June 16, 2010. - Next Friday the 18th, Compañía Cervecera will receive the Asinca Award for Labor Risk Prevention Management within the large enterprises category.

The presentation ceremony will take place at the AC Hotel in Las Palmas at 1:00 p.m. and will be hosted by the Industry's Vice-counselor of the Canarias Government, Juan Pedro Sánchez Rodríguez, and Asinca Las Palmas' President, Eugenio Castillo Eguía. The company's Human Resources Director, Rosana Fernández, is expected to assist on behalf of Cervecera.

 As the company's management has said, this award is due to "the excellent prevention management" of Compañía Cervecera, and to the fact that it "has interactive devices strategically placed in various locations within the company to facilitate the integration of its workforce within the company's management system."

The presentation of the award will take place within the fifth edition of Asinca's Labor Risk Prevention Week, which is happening on these dates in the Canarian capital, and through which the association seeks to promote and integrate a culture of prevention within the Canarian industrial sector.

The initiative includes the development of preventive culture's promotion and integration actions, as well as talks and workshops. The presentation of the fourth edition of the Asinca Awards for Labor Risk Prevention Management, will culminate the event.

This distinction marks the acknowledgment of Compañía Cervecera's work for the past years regarding security and labor health, and of its great investment efforts to maintain the facilities in perfect condition in order to be able to continue to minimize risks and improve working conditions for the personnel.

CCC has insisted in having continuous training as a valuable tool to manage prevention in security and labor health. In this regard, it has worked to delve in the aspects of specific risks associated with routine activities and tasks, as well as in updating its technicians regarding changes and new laws as they are incorporated.
