Kompania in Search of Innovations (Translation)

Creative, motivated and innovative - such are the people that Kompania Piwowarska is looking for in its new internship programme called "Kompania of Innovations." Come with an idea, enter the contest and win an internship! - this is the slogan of the contest taking place between March 15 and May 30, 2010.

Kompania Piwowarska, leader of the beer industry in Poland, is reaching out to young talent one more time and starting its search for outstanding young people full of ideas. The new internship programme and the contest called "Kompania of Innovations" started on March 15 and will continue until May 30. The contest is to promote innovativeness and individual initiative among students as characteristics particularly valued by employers.

"We believe that through innovation we may truly shape the future and not only cultivate the present time; therefore, we question the current rules of the market, even those that decided the success enjoyed by Kompania Piwowarska. Such an approach is only possible with people who are curious, creative and uninhibited but at the same time motivated and disciplined enough to implement new ideas," says Wioletta Rosiejak, manager for innovation of Kompania Piwowarska.

In search of young talent
"Individual, unique, surprising, vast - these are the terms to define ‘talent' in an organisation. Talent, however, always appears in a singular form because it invariably applies to a single person who is special through what he/she does and what he/she is like," explains Maria Tykałowicz, director for organisation development of Kompania Piwowarska, and adds immediately, "Young talent is particularly important for the organisation because a fresh look and an attitude unblemished by ‘bad practises' breaks the mould of commonly applied ways and means."
Therefore, the goal of the "Kompania of Innovations" contest is quite a challenge. The leader of the brewing industry in Poland expects the contestants to present innovative solutions within three areas which deal with, respectively, the brand portfolio, the company's image on the employment market and the technology of beer production.

Internship for the best
The jury composed of Kompania Piwowarska employees will select the ten best projects out of the submitted entries. Authors of the most innovative solutions will be invited to the grand finale at the headquarters of the company, where they will present their projects to the committee and participate in a meeting with KP experts.
The winner will receive an iPod, and other finalists, diplomas and a series of gifts from KP. All finalists will be invited to take part in the recruiting process which will select three people that will receive an offer for a 6-month-long paid internship at Kompania Piwowarska.
Contest entries can be submitted until April 30.
