Drinkaware Trust

In the United Kingdom, where we are headquartered, we were the first alcohol company to sponsor Drinkaware. Today we continue to support Drinkaware through our UK subsidiary Miller Brands UK.

Drinkaware is an independent UK-wide charity supported by voluntary donations from across the drinks industry. It promotes responsible drinking and finds innovative ways to challenge the national drinking culture to help reduce alcohol misuse and minimise alcohol-related harm.

Portman Group

The Portman Group is the social responsibility body for alcohol producers in the UK. Its role is to regulate the promotion and packaging of alcoholic drinks sold or marketed in the UK, to challenge and encourage the industry to market its products responsibly and to show leadership on best practice in alcohol social responsibility through the actions of member companies.

International Center for Alcohol Policies

ICAP is a not-for-profit organization, supported by major producers of beverage alcohol. It is a resource for all those interested in alcohol policy worldwide. ICAP promotes dialogue involving the drinks industry, the research and public health communities, government, and civil society, encouraging them to work together.

Global Actions on Harmful Drinking

Global Action on Harmful Drinking is a consortium of initiatives dedicated to helping reduce the harmful use of alcohol. The website,  Industry Actions to Reduce Harmful Drinking, is a searchable database of industry-sponsored initiatives and partnerships to reduce harmful drinking developed in partnership with governments, civil society, public health, and other stakeholders worldwide. In addition, we have signed up to the Commitments to Reduce Harmful Drinking - a five year global action plan which requires us to strengthen and expand marketing codes of practice; provide consumer information and innovate products responsibly; reduce underage drinking; reduce drinking and driving; and enlist the support of retailers to reduce harmful drinking.
