History

Lesotho Brewing Company (Pty) Ltd (LBC) is established as a joint venture between the Lesotho National Development Corporation (51%), SAB (39%) and the Commonwealth Development Corporation (10%).
- 1982
Brewing and soft drink production starts in 1982 through Maluti Mountain Brewery and Maratholi Beverages. Wines and spirits are imported and sold through Lesotho Liquor Distributors.
- 2002
The Commonwealth Development Corporation sells its shares to a privatisation unit set up by the Lesotho Government.
- 2010
Lesotho Brewing Company changes its name to Maluti Mountain Brewery.
