History

1994

SAB forms a joint venture in China with China Resources Enterprise Ltd. The operation is called China Resources Breweries Ltd (CRB).

1996

Dalian China Resources Brewery Ltd. is established.

1997

Mianyang China Resources Brewery Ltd. is established.

1998

Jilin China Resources Brewery Ltd. is established.

1999

Tianjin China Resources Brewery Ltd. is established.

2000

Anhui China Resources Brewery Ltd. is established.

2001

The company acquires a majority stake in the Sichuan Blue Sword Breweries Group, adding the Blue Sword brand, amongst others, to its portfolio.

2002

The company acquires a majority stake in the Sichuan Blue Sword Breweries Group, adding the Blue Sword brand, amongst others, to its portfolio.

2003

Beijing China Resources Brewery Ltd. is established.

2004

CRB acquires Zhejiang Qianpi Group.

CRB acquires Anhui Longjin Group.

The Company changes its name to China Resources Snow Breweries Ltd. (CR Snow)

CR Snow acquires the Chinese brewing interests of Lion Nathan.

2007

CR Snow acquires the remaining shares of Blue Sword, with the "Blue Sword" trademark and its beer interests in Guizhou Pubu Brewery.

2008

CR Snow (Liaoning) completes the 1st phase of a 10 mn hl greenfield.

CR Snow establishes Shanghai Brewery.

2009

CR Snow SABMiller’s joint venture in China continues to expand with the acquisition of furtherbreweries in Anhui, Liaoning and Zhejiang provinces and its first in Shandong province.

2010

CR Snow acquires 45% shares and 16 registered trademarks of Hangzhou Xihu Asahi (Holding) Ltd.

2011

CR Snow acquires all assets and trademarks of Donghai Brewery in Shanghai and the remaining 55% of shares in Hangzhou Xihu Asahi (Holding) Ltd. The business acquires Heineken-APB's 49% equity interest in Jiangsu Dafuhao Breweries Co Ltd and its 100% equity interest in Shanghai Asia Pacific Brewery Company Ltd. CR Snow also announces a partnership with China Kweichow Moutai Distillery Co. Ltd to form Joint Venture in Guizhou Moutai Beer.
