Current business profile

Since becoming part of SABMiller, Birra Peroni has successfully grown its core brands Peroni and Nastro Azzurro. During 2012 domestic lager volumes were level with the prior year despite the impact of a deteriorating economic outlook. Declines in the first half of the year were recovered in a stronger second half supported by increased promotional activity. Peroni grew ahead of the prior year benefiting from expansion of draught volumes.
