1924

La Tropical begins operations in Gran Canaria

1939

La Tropical is acquired by Sociedad Industrial de Canarias (SICAL).

Compañia Cervecera de Canarias (CCC) is formed in Tenerife.

1990

SAB acquires CCC, entering Europe for the first time.

1994

CCC merges with SICAL to form one of the largest industrial groups in the Canaries.

CompaƱia Cervecera de Canarias S.A (CCC) is the largest brewer in the Canaries, employing directly or indirectly over 900 people with a market share of 48.8%. The company operates two breweries located in two different islands: Tenerife and Gran Canaria.
