La Tropical begins operations in Gran Canaria

1939

La Tropical is acquired by Sociedad Industrial de Canarias (SICAL).

Compañia Cervecera de Canarias (CCC) is formed in Tenerife.

1990

SAB acquires CCC, entering Europe for the first time.

1994

CCC merges with SICAL to form one of the largest industrial groups in the Canaries.
